Why I Wrote This Book

Every year, people approaching 65 are bombarded with television commercials, postcards, emails, phone calls and online advertisements telling them what they should do.

Medicare Advantage.

Medicare Supplement.

Prescription drug plans.

“Extra benefits.”

“Save hundreds of dollars!”

It can feel like a Medicare tornado coming at you from every direction.

And the problem isn’t necessarily that there isn’t enough information.

There is too much information—and much of it can be difficult to understand.

That’s where I believe education makes a difference.

Medicare doesn’t have to be overwhelming.

For years, I’ve helped people navigate these decisions through Stark Associates. I’ve always believed that the best Medicare decision starts with education—not pressure.

Before you choose a plan, you should understand how Medicare works, what your options are, what the costs could look like, and what questions you should be asking.
